It would be great if more people used biodiesel in the diesel trucks! However, at least in Michigan, you can not legally sell the biodiesel you make at home and many people do not want to put the time and effort into making it themselves.
There are a few negatives to using biodiesel in diesel trucks. First, there is limited availability of biodiesel fuel. Next, the cost is much higher for biodiesel. Also, fuel economy is off by at least 10%. Additionally, biodiesel may be a concern in cold weather and in older vehicles.
Assuming its a diesel...then you dont have to do anything. As long as you make good quality filtered biodiesel. I've been making it for a while. Bought a 150L kit from Scintex Biofuels. www.scintex.com.au Havent had any troubles running biodiesel on my GQ Patrol but i always filter down to 1uM just to make sure my fuel filters dont get clogged. Out.
i dont believe the 7.3 has an inertia switch we have had 7 trucks with 7.3 and have never yet found an inertia switch
methanol and diesel dont mix
i dont think it can run once it is out of diesel
no, the gas in the uk costs twice as much their roads are to small and i guess they dont have the use for them.
diesel's dont produce enough
no trucks dont run over your feet...they drive over them..
trucks have broad wheel because so that it reduces pressure and the tyres dont burst.
if you dont know much about wheels or trucks dont do it
you dont really wont to use 100% biodiesel on this vehicle i would suggest 10% max as more could damage injectors always ensure the filling station is biofuel regestered
i dont think so
no i dont think you can use diesel fuel injector cleaner in gas engines
