Please do 2 things:
1. Look at all of the other State Quarters in your pocket change.
2. Examine the dates on the quarter carefully.
The statue is an allegorical figure representing liberty and justice. The date at the top of the design is actually 1787, the year Pennsylvania was admitted to the Union. The date at the bottom, 1999, is the date the coin was minted. All state quarters have the same kind of double dates.
If you got the coin in change it's only worth a quarter. Uncirculated, it would retail for 35-40¢
The top date of 1787 makes it a Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey quarter, all of which were actually minted in 1999. The coin is worth 25 cents.
It is worth a quarter :D
How much is a 1911 quarter worth
A quarter is worth 25 cents.
How much is 1768 quarter worth
A quarter is worth 25 cents or $0.25.
I went in with my engagement ring yesterday which is a quarter carat in platinum to see how much it was worth. The woman said a quarter carat diamond is worth at the LEAST $489 in their store. They're also one of the cheaper stores in this area, so I'd say at least $500 depending on the quality of the diamond.
A 1776-1976 no proof quarter dollar worth in 2012
If it is still a quarter in 2020 it would be worth a quarter of a dollar.
Given that the U.S. Mint didn't begin production until 1793, odds are that your quarter features Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey, all of which became states in 1787. The coin was minted in 1999, and is worth exactly twenty-five cents.
A quarter from 2006 would still be worth 25 cents.
I have a 1994 quarter double date, what is the worth ?
