SUBJECT: Harassment

2. Acknowledge the complaint and receive a written response in the time prescribed below.

My name is Miss Karen Brooks I purchased a vehicle through your company on

October 18, 2011. During the document process I was unable to produce proof of income, and up to date insurance information. I informed the salesman (Chris Miller); I would bring required information by the dealership or FAX to the number provided to me by Mr. Miller himself, the next business day. He (Chris Miller) insisted on following me home, my response to Mr. Miller was "NO." I didn't feel it was necessary for him to follow me home at 8:30 p.m. Mr. Miller had access to my profile at his discretion). He informed me that he had Googled my address and was going to come to my house.

He knocked on my door; my 15yr son answered the door paranoid because he did not expect to see Mr. Miller at my door at that time of night. When I came to the door, he did ask me for my LES (Leave/Earnings Statement). Made remarks about my TV, complimented the house, and wanted to know how long I lived in it. I ask him why he came to my house at this late hour; after my I asking him not to. He said that he had to get the paperwork. I also stated there was nothing he could do with stated paperwork at this hour.

I asked if he did not believe that I would bring the information the next day. I ask if he were questioning my integrity! I had always provided requested documents when working previously with other dealerships; furthermore I have "NEVER HAD SALESMAN COME TO MY HOUSE FOR DOCUMENTS."

I had an appointment with the Huntsville KIA dealership, Sales Manager Darryl on Thursday, December 08, 2011 at approximately 4:30 pm. After discussing the matter with Darryl he left the office and I was approached by the financial manger. I tried to express my concerns and all he could do was tell me how he thought "I was CRAZY and that all the KIA employees were reputable and they have the right to Google my address and come to my house without my consent." I ask to see the KIA policy where it stated KIA has or had the right to do this. I was told there was NO Policy.

a. It was approximately 8:30 pm when the transaction was completed

b. If there was a problem with me leaving the lot with the vehicle, he should have said something and I would have driven my own vehicle home and return the next business day.

c. I am very dissatisfied with his conduct as a business man

d. I am appalled by the Customer Complaint Service that I received from the manager.

e. I am a single parent, as he knows in my (KIA PROFILE) and I am very concerned about his dominant actions and possible future actions in or around my household environment.

Conclusion

I would like to know what your company's policy on this matter is if you have one and what is going to be done to rectify the matter. A copy of this letter will be forwarded to the BBB (Better Business Bureau and Angie's List), the news media as well as my attorney. I would expect to hear a positive response within 10 business days.
