I also can not get my Mesh computer to connect to the internet. I have bought a netgear router and wireless adaptor. In addition, i have connected the router via ethernet cable-still no joy. The router works with other computers in the house so why not the Mesh? HELP
The easiest way to solve this problem: use a wireless connection. Many recent computers include a wireless NIC (network interface card), and can connect to wireless networks easily, leaving the Ethernet port free. This will only work, obviously, if this computer has a wireless card and there is a wireless network to connect to.If wireless is not an option, purchasing an additional Ethernet card will upgrade the computer to owning two Ethernet ports. One port can be used for the Internet, the other for this external service.
Modem.
Every computer that is connected to a local area network or LAN should have an Ethernet card. For wireless networks, computers should have a wireless adapter.
it would change alot ueaaa
sure plug a crossover cable into the ethernet port on your computer, other end goes into the WAN port on your wireless router go to your network settings on the computer, right click on your local area network click share, then right click and bridge connection, choose your card and your local area connection Thank You Kris - http://cssraven.com
yes
No the PS3 requires a WiFi or ethernet connection
as lon as you have a router with ethernet or wireless, sure why not
Switch to ethernet cords..Way easier and that's what you will have to do.
Yes a wireless broadband connection or an ethernet cord
A broadband router is similar to a wireless router, except that it lacks the ability to transmit and receive wireless signals. One example of a broadband router can be seen with early cable modems that allowed Internet access only to devices that were directly plugged into the unit with an Ethernet line. The primary purpose of a broadband router is to intercept traffic from the Internet and transmit relevant information packages to a computer or device for processing.
Yes
Either on a wireless network or ethernet. Just plug your ethernet cord from your xbox to your computer. or on a wireless network choose the computer you wish.
You have two basic options. 1.You can connect your laptop to your cable, fibre optic, or DSL modem or Ethernet port using an Ethernet cord. 2. You can connect your cable, fibre optic, or DSL modem or Ethernet port to a wireless router using a Ethernet cable. You then connect your laptop using wireless to your wireless router.
Pick up a wireless router. Most have ethernet ports as well, so you can set this up connected directly to your cable or DLS modem. Then connect your PC to the router via ethernet, and your sons can connect wirelessly to the router.
Either a network card connect via ethernet cord to broadband modem. A wireless card connected to a wireless network, or a USB supported cable modem including the appropriate drivers.
the easiest way is with a wireless router so that you can use a wireless laptop or wireless adpated PC anywhere in the house
