There are many uses for a "Digi Design Mbox 2." The most popular and common use of the "Digi Design Mbox 2" is for use in creating computer recordings.
You need a firewire connection, most likely at least 2 gig ram and a decent processor. The requirements aren't nearly as high as gaming for example, but if you want to record a large number of tracks simultaneously you need a decent processor. If you already run pro tools with something like an mbox, you have no issues, just need a firewire connection.
Without installing Pro Tools, you can download the Windows driver for the Mbox 2 at the avid.com website. You can then select the Mbox 2 as the audio input and output device for FL Studio.

Pro Tools LE (up to version 8.0) will only work with Avid (Digidesign) hardware, ie. It is not possible to use multiple USB or Firewire audio devices in Pro Tools LE or M-Powered.
