Media is the connection between a sender(transmitter) and a receiver. You can divide media into two broad categories, conductive media (you can see and touch it, e.g. copper wire), and radiated media (can't see, e.g. infrared, microwave, wireless transmission).
You can use social media, article marketing, blogging, video marketing, and many more.

Deconstructing media is important to understand the underlying messages, biases, and influences present in the content. It helps individuals to develop critical thinking skills and become more media literate, enabling them to engage with media content in a more informed and discerning manner.
The best reason for analyzing media is that it will help you to become "media literate"-- able to think about what is being presented to you, rather than just believing whatever some famous talk show host, athlete, or celebrity said. Among the questions a media literate person might ask are these: why do the mainstream media choose to cover certain stories (and issues) but ignore others? Why do they focus on certain people but not pay much attention to others? Do the media accurately report the news or do they have certain biases? Do advertisers have any influence on what the media report (or fail to report)? A media literate person also asks about "framing": what was included in the story, and what was intentionally left out? The more you know about the media, the more you will be able to use and enjoy it responsibly, and not be fooled or manipulated. To help you with media analysis, I enclose a link to a famous set of question you should be asking yourself when you watch, read or listen to news, as well as when you encounter commercials, celebrity testimonials, and claims made by politicians.
Of course. The more you read, the more literate you will become.

In literate societies, older adults may have access to written resources and education, enabling more opportunities for intellectual stimulation and social engagement. In non-literate societies, older adults may rely more on oral traditions and community support for knowledge and social interaction in old age. Literacy can impact the ability of older adults to participate fully in society and access information and services.
