The Toshiba Satellite L350-170 has an ExpressCard slot on the left hand side. To find it, if you are looking at your laptop normally, from a standard angle, turn the laptop chassis a full 90° to the right, so that the screen is perpendicular to you on the left side. You will then see the ExpressCard slot on the right hand side of this view. There are no other memory card slots on this laptop. by signal, i presume your using a wireless router. if so i would try reinstalling the wireless Receiver program. .
Wireless and wired. Wired - Basically, you connect your computer to your router with an Ethernet cable, this will allow you to access your internet quickly. Wireless - In laptops, you will have a wireless card already built in but some desktops do not. This will allow you to connect to a router anywhere in your house or whatever range your wireless can go. All this can not be done without drivers, chips and programs. Your chip allows a wireless signal to connect to other wireless hardware's (routers etc). Programs will allow you to visually see what network you want to connect and see signal strength etc. And drivers works with all 2 - chip and program. The driver allows your chip to even work on your motherboard and will allow you to access the program where the internet takes place.
One option for a person to buy a secondhand Toshiba satellite notebook is through the online auction website eBay. Other options are through Amazon, or Craigslist.
No; if you're talking satellite TV, there are workarounds (look up slingbox for one example). If you're talking satellite internet, you can connect to that connection through a wireless router that's hooked up to your satellite modem.

Drivers for a Toshiba laptop can normally be found on Toshiba's website. The drivers can also be found through other engines. Don't look for drivers on not well known websites.
If you go on eBay you should be able to get a good deal on new and used Toshiba Laptops. You can find one for an approximate cost of $220. You can get a refurbished one for about $100 or less. Just go on eBay and look. But make sure you look through all the specs first. You don't want to buy a really cheap laptop for too much money.
What's the exactly model of your Toshiba, if it`s smart and you have WI-FI connection you can do through your laptop.
There is a limited one year manufacter warranty for the Toshiba LCD, however you can purchase additional warranty through the manufacter or through an outside company.
