The Toshiba Satellite L350-170 has an ExpressCard slot on the left hand side. To find it, if you are looking at your laptop normally, from a standard angle, turn the laptop chassis a full 90° to the right, so that the screen is perpendicular to you on the left side. You will then see the ExpressCard slot on the right hand side of this view. There are no other memory card slots on this laptop. For more information on the Toshiba Satellite L350-170, check out Toshiba's website: http://uk.computers.toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-L350-170/1058332/
The card reader may not be found in some of the laptops, but if it is there, it is usually located on the side of the laptop somewhere. If your laptop does not have a card reader, you can buy one from the local technology shop, which connects to the laptop through a USB wire.
yes it has a 5 in 1 card reader ( SD Memory Card ), ( xD-Picture Card ), ( Memory Stick ), ( Memory Stick PRO ), ( MultiMediaCard )
Toshiba 360 is an excellent laptop. It has great design, excellent performance and has the best value for your money. You can purchase it at Wal-Mart or online at Amazon.com.
You don't, this does not have built in sd card reader. You need to get a usb sd card reader, then you put the sd card into the card reader, then plug the card reader into your usb slot.
Yes... Absolutely! I also have a JMCR SD MMC SCSI Disk Device card reader & I tried putting a 16 GB SD card in it today... it wouldn't format it or read it (at first)... Now my JMCR SD MMC SCSI Disk Device card reader DOES read SDHC cards!!! (Including the 16 GB one it couldn't read a little while ago). The problem is finding the right software online... it isn't easy. If you navigate to Control Panel > find & start Device Manager > Under Memory technology driver ... you should see it listed as "JMicron PCIe SD MMC Host Controller", "JMicron PCIe xD Host Controller", & a few other JMicron devices. You could try updating those drivers. The point is that it is a JMicron Memory device... so if your computer manufacturer keeps an updated list of drivers (such as Toshiba does) you should be able find it under a description related to this. To do that you have to: First locate your model number, serial number, and part number (on bottom of laptops or some sticker on any device). Then find your manufacturer's driver source (they should be free). Then find this exact driver/software for your exact device there. Install it and then try it. Option 2 would be to find and use a driver update program. Option 3 (Might not be compatible with your system) you could attempt to use the one from Toshiba even if yours isn't a Toshiba... i.e. there is a USB formatting program that works on most systems. Just be prepared to restore your system if this does install on a non-Toshiba device & turns out to be harmful.... and use this only as a last resort at your own risk. This might damage your hardware / device... so it's entirely up to you.

I don't know, but Toshiba Portege M300 from a box can't read it. I buy USB card reader and not use internal SD reader for years... Surprisingly, after complex update (latest BIOS, latest drivers from Toshiba site) it begin read SDHC! I glad see what my old laptop support new technology after simple software update!

Connect your camera with the supplied USB cable.Or, remove the memory stick and insert it into a compatible USB card reader.
Yes you ccan get a memory card reader for a laptop that connects via USB ports.
You just need to insert the flashdrive on the USB reader and plug the reader on your PC or laptop. USB reader is mostly used if you wanted to insert 2-3 usb at a time but only have one USB port on your laptop or PC.
to read the informations in a memory card
There is no such thing. Dell only made it look as if they were up with or ahead of others in technology with the memory card readers like the SD card reader in the TOSHIBA NB-205 Netbook and othe later model laptops, Notrbooks and netbooks. The slot for the reade is just a hole to let dust into your laptop. I have the 2005 Dell Latitude D610 Laptop and using it as i write this answer. My advice is forget about the SmartCard reader drive and the credit card size cards and plug the hole up with some soft medical type bandaging that will alow air flow and filtering.

A micro Sd card is the best to use because Kingston makes a usb reader for micro SD cards. You plug the micro SD card into the USB reader then the USB reader is plugged into one of the USB ports on your laptop and will read it as an external drive.
