Absolutely not ! Whether you're giving the copy away or selling it - you are breaching copyright laws - and depriving the programs owners of income ! Unauthorised copying anything that's covered by copyright laws is ILLEGAL !

∙ 14y agoWhat are the restrictions that your friend agreed to when he purchased the program (assuming that he did)? He may or may not have the right to give you the program. You have to check those documents in order to know. Copyright law is the law, and people who are caught violating it will face the consequences.

No, you do not need copies, but can easily get copies by asking for them. Your first mistake was cosigning the loan. You are now responsible for this loan and you better pray he makes the payments on time. IMO, cosigning for a loan on anyone other than family is foolish at best. You may end up loosing a friend and lots of money to boot.
