Check that other computers connected wirelessly to the router have internet. If with internet on other computers everything is ok, check router mac filter. Check firewall settings on your laptop. Try to turn windows firewall off and connect to internet. If it works you have to create manually rules for the firewall in order to use it along with internet. Check your broweser settings such Proxy servers, coneection, network and so on, check your PC on another router (some adapters are not compatible with certain routers).

press enter
reboot.
your internet will come back to life.

right so you want to connect your wii to the internet,first i will show how to do it with wireless 1.if you have a wireless router make sure its on! 2.then turn on the wii 3.go to the wii main menu 4.at the bottom left of the screen it should say wii 5.clik the arrow at the side or + on the remote 6.clik on internet 7.3 boxes should come up, press any 8.choose wireless connection 9. then it should do at connection test 10.if it wont connect your wirelesss router may not be on the right channel(use Google to find out how) now i will show you how to do it with wired connection. 1.you will need ethernet cable (about £5-£15 at 30 meteres long) and a wii lan adapter(tip. the Nintendo one in expensive so get another companys one by the way amazon is cheapest. you will also need to make sure that your modem or hub or watever has a ethernet port in the bak note.BT's home hub has 4 in the bak. 2.all you need to do now is plug is connect the ethernet port to your modem or watever and connect the other end to the wii lan adapter which should be connected to your via usb. now folow previus steps 2-7 and this time clik on wired connection.then do a connection test and it should work hope this helps if not tell me your problem im glad to help Hi. i need help with my wii connecting to the internet. hey, what are you trying to play cod5 on?? PC, xbox, ps3??? I've got it for xbox 360.. and if you want to play xbox live u need the following; - internet ready connection, weather its directly connected to the router, or wireless - xbox live GOLD membership (very important to have gold membership) the xbox does the rest automatically, if its ps3 it should do everything automatically as long as you have the internet connection already set up with PC it technically should wrk automatically, provided u hav an internet connection already established before you enter the game, there could be more problems, depending on the console, etc etc.. holla back if you need ne help Well if your on PC and patched, you just have to go on console (press button to left of 1) and simply write /connect then find a CRACKED server ip and high light it, crtl c then crtl v into console

there are ways to speed up your computer, just google "how to speed up your computer" or "how to speed up your internet" that's how I got my computer from sllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww to, well at least tolerable. Also make sure you got an antivirus program, I have AVG free edition and it works great. Also you can go on a windows XP or Vista computer (maybe higher versions too) click start> all programs> accessories> system tools> and use Disk Defragmenter or Disk Cleanup.
