By default, iTunes Music uses AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) format. You cannot download iTunes music to Sony MP3 Player. To transfer iTunes files or other files to your portable player, you can use a third-party tool like Macsome iTunes Converter. It is able to download iTunes files and Apple Music songs to MP3, so that you can transfer iTunes music to Sony MP3 Player or other devices without limits.
Just use Winamp to sync the playlist over.
If you download iWisoft Video converter which is a free download then there is an option to convert video files to a walkman supported format. It takes about as long to convert as the video file actually is. Once its converted then just find the file in your documents and copy it directly to your walkman. There is no need to use windows media player or anything. Easy.

No—you cannot sync an iPad with iTunes directly on the iPad, because the iTunes app on iPad (or iPhone) is just for purchasing and playing content, not for device syncing. To sync your iPad, you need a computer: Windows or macOS Mojave and earlier: Use iTunes. macOS Catalina and later: Use Finder. Connect your iPad via USB (or Wi-Fi sync if enabled), then you can sync music, movies, podcasts, and backups.
