Downloading Tamil songs to an iPod is no different than downloading other forms of music. Visit the iTunes Store, purchase the music, and sync it to the iPod. In order to sync the music, attach the iPod to the Mac or PC with the downloaded file via the appropriate cable. Then wait for the device to recognize the iPod. With a PC, a window will pop up asking whether or not to view files or sync the device. Close the dialogue box. Click to open iTunes, if it is not already opened, and find the sync device option. Add the music desired to the sync playlist. Begin the synchronization and wait for the alert of completion. Safely disconnect the iPod and test the newly synced music to ensure it works properly.
