ndiswrapper is not included by default in the LiveCD, but it is available from the repositories.
The card is not natively supported, but it can be made to work using ndiswrapper.
Two ways: 1. Go to Applications > Accessories > Terminal 2. Type in 'sudo apt-get install ndiswrapper' Or, if you cannot access internet, it is included on the CD: 1. Insert CD 2. Go to terminal, type in 'sudo mount /dev/cdrom /cdrom' 3. Go to System > Administration > Software Sources 4. Check the box next to "Ubuntu [version number]" under "Install from CD" 5. Exit and let it refresh 6. Go to System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager 7. search for "ndiswrapper" and tick the result that should come up 8. Click OK and let it install
ndiswrapper in an app that fools the wireless windows driver to work with linux.
This requires installing ndiswrapper and "wrapping" the Windows drivers. There are no native Linux drivers for your wireless card yet. You can find a more detailed tutorial in the Related links section below.

Sometimes hardware cannot run without problems on Linux-based operating systems. To solve this, NDISwrapper emulates a Windows environment within Linux, which allows Linux to communicate with the hardware without binary emulation.
