To change the mass air flow (MAF) sensor in a Pontiac Aztek, first ensure the engine is off and disconnect the negative battery cable. Locate the MAF sensor, which is typically found between the air filter and the throttle body. Unplug the electrical connector, remove the mounting screws, and take out the old sensor. Install the new MAF sensor in the same position, secure it with screws, reconnect the electrical connector, and reattach the negative battery cable.
