Of course. The internet is predominantly a visual means of communications. It provides a lot of opportunities for deaf people to interact with others in a manner that their challenge is not apparent and avoid any sort of prejudices.
There is no telling how many contributors on this site may be deaf! And it certainly doesn't matter. Yes, it wouldn't be any different that a hearing person being online with their computer speakers turned off.
Yes. It is an excellent way for deaf people to communicate (as they can read and type - unless they are both deaf and blind).

A Deaf interpreter is a Deaf person who is a native user of (ie) American Sign Language-ASL, and a member of the Deaf community. The interpreter can work as a bridge between a Deaf person, an interpreter and the non- signing hearing person. For example, the Deaf person may be from another country, and cannot rely on the interpreter alone, the Deaf interpreter watches the interpreter then modifies the communication in order that the Deaf person has a better understanding of the message. You may have meant interpreter for the Deaf?
Being able to speak vocally works OK when a deaf person is speaking TO a hearing person but when both people are deaf neither can hear what the other person is saying. Signing therefore enables communication between deaf people and would be a better way for a hearing person to say something TO a deaf person. If you can hear why don't you learn how to sign!
A person who cannot hear or speak is typically referred to as deaf and mute, or deaf-mute. However, it is important to note that these terms can be considered outdated or offensive, and it is better to use person-first language such as a person who is deaf or communicates in sign language.
Manila Christian Computer Institute for the Deaf's motto is 'God, Education, Technology, Life'.
If a deaf person was rude and cut in front of you in line then tap them on the shoulder to get their attention and talk normally to them (they usually can lip read) and use your hands to point to them and then behind you. It would be wiser to simply let it go and let the deaf person who cut you off go through.
