To adjust the window headers sizing on your computer, you can usually do so by right-clicking on the taskbar, selecting "Properties," and then adjusting the settings under the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" window. Look for options related to window headers or title bars, and adjust the size as needed.
replace window regulator
Ok I got the window replace but how do you adjust it so that it runs up and down on the track properly? The front side of the window keeps falling off the track because the window rolls down crooked. Thanks
what year?
First off you have to remove the door panel and then you will see a few nuts...there is about 3 nuts (10mm) that hold the window slides in place. 1)loosen those bolts and you can tweak the window side to side... 2) loosen the nut on the rubber slide at the top of the slide that guides the window up and down... this will let you adjust how high the window goes up before it stops... just adjust it alittle at a time and check the window,,,Good Luck
window regulator is worn out
you don't you replace it
Begin by removing the Geo Tracker door panel. The entire window mechanism will be visible. The window linkage will have adjustment nuts on each end of the linkage.
You don[t adjust it. If it isn't tracking right something is bent or broken.
First you need a back window. Second You Need a 1999 Silverado. Third you will need tools to adjust it.
There are a couple of screws that will allow you to adjust the position of the window glass on the driver side. In order to get to them, you will have to remove the door panel and water shield. At that point the screws can be loosened and the window adjusted to move properly. There should be a link to the left or below this answer that has some pictures of where these screws are.
To install interior window shutters, first measure the window opening and purchase shutters that fit. Next, attach the hinges to the shutters and then to the window frame. Finally, adjust the shutters for proper fit and functionality.
