You need to replace the rear wheel hub - bearing and speed sensor inclusive
I need to know how to remove a rear wheel speed sensor on a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire
The 2001 Pontiac sun fire speed control sensor is located on the front passenger wheel. The sensor can be found on the inside of the rotor.
If your looking for the ABS wheel speed sensors, there is one at each wheel hub. Follow the wire behind each wheel, they will lead you to each wheel speed sensor.
Wheel speed sensor. have the ABS scaned
It is on front/rear hub assy - bearing, studs and wheel speed sensor
I have an 03 grand am gt, the speed sensors are built into the hub assembly on each wheel.
If you jack up the right front (passenger side) side of the vehicle and remove the right front wheel, the speed sensor can be seen and reached on the top of the transmission output housing for the right wheel.
You need a wheel speed sensor! Wheel speed sensor is a part of wheel hub assembly with bearing, studs and sensor. You have four wheel speed sensors, one in each wheel. One or more of them are bad or the wiring or connector. If you check it with a ABS capable OBDII scanner it will let you know which wheel signal has the problem.
Need to know if you are asking about the vehicle speed sensor, a front wheel speed sensor or rear wheel speed sensor.
If it is the rear sensor, it will be in the differential. If it is a front sensor, it will be located at each front wheel.
Chances are its a wheel speed sensor and will need the wheel bearing replaced. or it can be a loose or corroded wire attached to the sensor as well.
