Hi Sonya, sorry for the delay. The answer, is yes. You will be able to hook up magic jack to your uverse router on phone line 2, and everything should work great. I would use the computer in phone line 1's room to connect to the router on phone line 2. If however, you have problems making the magic jack work with the uverse router (some people have) you will need to update your magic jack and router firmware. Linksys is the name of a wireless router, not an ISP; you'll have to check with the owner of the router which ISP they connect it to.

First thing to check is the encryption, a 'new' router would be using WPA encryption, but a DS Lite only supports WEP. You'd have to log into the router's settings and change it.
