Deleting programs will free up space, but it won't necessarily make your PC run any faster. Computers need RAM-- Random Access Memory. The biggest hogs of memory are browser temp files and registry items. *BUT you should NOT mess with Registry unless you 110% know what you are doing!* So let's focus on SAFE things you CAN do.
Google for CCleaner or go to this website. The piriform website is safe for downloads and CCleaner is safe. Download the Free version. When you double-click the exe file, tell it NO on anything it wants to add, like a link on your Recycle Bin.
When you open the program, there are two tabs on the left. One tab says Windows; the other says Applications. UNcheck ALL items under both tabs except for Temporary internet Files under the Browser you use. Only use this setting until you become comfortable using and trust the program.
On the bottom left, you will see Analyze and Clean buttons. Click Analyze. Let it run-- it only takes a few minutes. When it stops, it will list What and How Many files it wants to *permanently delete*. But first, I need to show you one more step before deleting!
On the far left are icons: Cleaner, Registry, Tools, Options. Click on Tools.
Under Tools, just to the right, you'll see Cookies. Click Cookies. Let it open.
IF you choose Cookies and Temp Browser files (first screen, above), then, on the right on this screen, a list of every Cookie is listed. These are websites you visit, and ads/junk. The left side is empty. Put your cursor on one cookie, and right click so it opens the menu. Go down to Intelligent Scan and double click. This will SAVE all cookies for your logins. It will move those cookies to the right-side screen. Every time you run CCleaner, make sure to SAVE the cookies.
*If a cookie is an Advertisement, CCleaner will delete those.
Now, on the top LEFT click the icon that says Cleaner. You will be back on the Analyze-Clean screen. Look again at the file types it listed. It should for this first time only say X Browser name with temporary internet files.
NOTE - THIS ACTION PERMANENTLY REMOVES FILES. Click "Run Cleaner" on the bottom right. Within seconds, all those files will be gone.
WHEN you begin to feel comfortable using CCleaner, do Cookies and Browser Temp Files.
When you feel even safer about using it, look under Programs, like MS Word/MS Office and delete their temp files. You can do Acrobat Reader, or Flash--but only checkmark WHAT YOU KNOW for certain.
*DO NOT CHECKMARK ANYTHING UNDER REGISTRY OR WINDOWS.
* DO NOT CHECKMARK ANYTHING YOU DO NOT KNOW, ABSOLUTELY, WHAT IT IS AND WHAT IT DOES.
CCleaner is very good, as long as you know what you are doing.
MALAWAREBYTES
A second safe program is Malawarebytes. It is like Spy Bot Search and Destroy, but faster. After downloading and installing, it will check for updates. Let it. Then click Scan Now. Let it run. Can take 5 to 20 minutes. READ each thing it lists. If you are unsure, close the program without doing anything. But Malawarebytes is extremely safe and normally does no harm to your PC.
You should have the ability to delete all programs off of your computer if you want.

your computer will ask you if you want to delete the pictures. or if you/ve already put them on the computer, you can delete them manually by scrolling through and deleting them one by one.
True. The short-cut is simply a quicker way than searching through directories to find regularly-used files, games or programs. Deleting the short-cut does not delete the original file it relates to.
# Go to start on your computer # go to run # find msconfig # delete everything on it # Next time you start your computer it will show you a message # select don't show message again. This will turn of all kinds of programs that you don't need to have running and any thing you do need the computer will reinstall at startup.
