Another method (If you are using windows) is to run command prompt and type (Without quotes) "ipconfig"
Well it's diferant for mac and windows! I hope you have windows! Go to start, type in "cmd", then type in "ipconfig". Your IP will come up in an area allong with some other adresses. Your IP changes when you disconect from the internet, turn off your computer, or move to a diferant network so check it before you send som one it for a game server!
