By comparison, UNION ALL will return duplicate records that are in any of the component SELECT statements.

Oracle acts as an ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) driver by providing a standardized interface that allows applications to connect to Oracle databases using SQL. The Oracle ODBC driver translates ODBC function calls into Oracle-specific calls, enabling seamless communication between applications and the Oracle database. This allows developers to access Oracle data from various programming environments without needing to know the underlying database specifics. By supporting ODBC, Oracle enhances its interoperability with various applications and platforms.
They are not comparable to each other. Oracle is a company/organization, or a database (developed by the organization with the same name). Java is a general purpose programming language. You may write a Java program not using Oracle database as the persistence. And you may use Oracle Database without Java programming language. Interestingly though, Oracle, the company, does provide both Oracle and Java Certification programs.
Oracle sells many functional modules which use the Oracle RDBMS as a back-end, notably Oracle Financials, Oracle HRMS, Oracle SCM, Oracle Projects, Oracle CRM, Oracle Procurement.

The difference between Access and Oracle is Access has minimum security features and you can create a small to medium sized database. Oracle has NY security, which allows you to determine who can or can not get access to your data. Access you can't add too many users without it getting slow, and Oracle allows you to add thousands if you want to.
