How do you receive and send pictures on iPhone?

Through email only. On the newest version available on June 17, you can receive them through MMS.

There are also some applications of third parties available on Apple appstore that can share files (photos, etc.) between 2 iphones (3GS) via Bluetooth. some of them are free and others not.

There is a free app in iTunes from Hook Mobile that allows you to send a picture message. Once you sign up whoever you are sending a message to will have to accept the message and then you are good to go. It actually works quite well it is just not part of the text message app like it is on every other phone.

Once you plug it into your computer it should give you an option to open the pictures in any program you'd like.

In the same way as any other mobile. You can use an MMS, take a picture or use Bluetooth. However Bluetooth is very slow on the iPhones.

You can get them through email or messaging you go to the photo app and click on the button that has a box an arrow on it and click on one of the options.
