This is called the default printer
The default printer.
The default printer is changed in Windows by opening the start menu, going to Devices and Printer, and right clicking on the desired printer. Set as default printer is selected to finalize the change.
Are you sure you're selecting the correct printer? Sometimes a computer will attempt to send a document to a non-existent or a former printer. (assuming windows) Go to Control Panel then Printers, it may be "Printers and Faxes", depending on your system. Check which printer is 'default'. The default printer will have a check mark by it. If the wrong printer is selected as default, "right click" on the correct printer and then select the option, "set as default printer". If you don't find your printer in the list, you may need to install it using the manufacturers installation software, or you may need to find a "driver" over the internet.
If the checkmark is by the Microsoft xps document, then it is set as the default printer. You need to right click on your brother's printer in the control panel and select it as your default printer.
Connect the printer to a network computer that is connected via a wireless router. If that doesn't work, use the built in WiFi connection and tell the computer to look for it and add it is a separate printer, then set it as the default printer.
The default printer is the printing device set up by the computer or user as the preferred device for printing. Clicking a Print icon or in other ways doing a quick print will send the document automatically to the default printer. You can change the default printer in your printer settings.
