The getmac
command is a Windows utility that displays the MAC (Media Access Control) addresses of network interfaces on a computer. It provides information about the physical addressing of network adapters, including their status and the associated transport protocols. This command can be useful for network troubleshooting and management. By default, it lists the MAC addresses of all active network connections on the system.

Open cmd, type "getmac" or "ipconfig /all"
In command prompt you can perform these tasks: Chkdisk: checks a specific disk for errors. Shutdown -S: shuts down the computer system Shutdown -A: Aborts shutdown Getmac: retrieves mac address Ipconfig: brings up the Ip configuration affliated with the computer. You can also run programs 'MSPaint.exe' will open paint, 'Explorer.exe" will run WIndows Explorer, 'MSConfig.exe' will access the system configuration, 'Regedit' will run the registry edior, etc.
In Windows, hit start button and click run .......... Type in CMD and hit ok ........ In DOS Box type GETMAC and press enter. The MAC information for all installed network cards will be returned on the screen. KM
