what is a mis-stroke of a key
Simple. Just press the numlock key of the laptop and it will automatically be turned off. Hope this helps. <><
undo numlock
The external display has nothing to do with it :). You have numlock turned on, turn it off by either pressing function (fn) + numlock or just the numlock key, it depends on try way your computers configured. Usually if your function key is the same colour as the numlock text, you need to do the first key sequence, if not, just try the other :)
IF you have a button named ''fn'' press and hold it then press the numlock button or simply press the numlock button
Press the num lock key but if it is on f11 or something hold the fn key and press it
Don't laptops use the numlock key? Because I think that you have to press numlock, then 3 to get a number. Just remember to turn off numlock when you're done with numbers (there shoud be a little light somewhere)
NumLock
Well first of all you can't deactivate it because it won't be on if you don't have a numlock button. Anyways, my Toshiba (might not be the same laptop, I'm not sure which one i have) but I've read if you go to the onscreen keyboard (start menu>programs>accessibility>Onscreen keyboard) it has a numlock button on it
NumLock, short for Numeric Lock, is a key on a keyboard that toggles the numeric keypad between two modes: number entry and navigation functions. When NumLock is activated, the numeric keypad inputs numbers; when deactivated, it allows for cursor movement and other functions. If the NumLock light doesn't go off, it may indicate a hardware issue, a software glitch, or that the key was not properly toggled off due to a malfunctioning key or keyboard driver.
Set NumLock on, then type ALT and 168 to get ¿
You have to be more specific in your question or problem. It works fine for me.
Mine does. Some don't even have num pads, so they wouldn't.
