If drives C and D are local drives on your computer, drive C typically contains the operating system and program files, while drive D is often used for data storage or backups. This separation allows for better organization and can help protect important data in case of system issues. Users can easily manage files by keeping personal documents and media on drive D, freeing up space on drive C for system-related tasks.
