You can set your print settings in File - Page Settings.
To change the print orientation from portrait to landscape, go to the settings of the document or printer properties and select landscape orientation. This adjustment will modify the way the content is printed on the page, switching it from vertical to horizontal layout.

It really depends on what you are printing. You would choose the orientation of the page based upon that.
The print orientation that utilizes the width of a page is called "landscape" orientation. In this layout, the page is wider than it is tall, allowing for a broader view of content, which is particularly useful for displaying images, charts, or tables. In contrast, "portrait" orientation is taller than it is wide.
MS Access is notorious for "forgetting" page layout options such as landscape orientation and number of columns.

Normally we print on pages in Portrait mode, but if you are printing the other way, it is called Landscape. They their names from the usual orientation of paintings of each type.
