Perhaps the reason why you cannot save your contacts to your SIM card is because your SIM is full. Your phone should give you the option of saving contacts to your phone, and the settings should be in the Menu under Contacts.

Just plug in your Iphone and under the sync tab select contacts. At the bottom click apply. It will ask if you want to delete your iphones contacts select no. Then it will ask if you want to merge contacts. Select that one and you are good to go.

Go into your menu and select "Address Book." Scroll all the way to the bottom, and there should be an option called "SIM management." Select that, and you can choose to copy contacts to your SIM card, delete contacts from SIM card, or copy contacts from your SIM card.Note: you must go to the address book through the menu, not by selecting contacts. If you select contacts,you will not have the option to save to SIM.
