The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor on a Honda Element is typically located in the intake manifold or the air intake duct, depending on the specific model year. It is designed to measure the temperature of the air entering the engine, which helps the engine control unit (ECU) optimize fuel delivery and ignition timing. To locate it, you may need to follow the air intake system from the air filter to the throttle body. Always refer to the vehicle’s service manual for precise location details and procedures.
how much does a iat sensor cost on a 2000 Honda accord
IT is a Intake Air Temperature sensor
Idle Air Temperature sensor.
The IAT sensor on the 1993 Honda Prelude is located to the right of the intake manifold as you face the engine compartment. It is connected with red and green wiring.

In the intake manifold plenium, its a 2 wire sensor
The iat sensor is in the air filter element. First you take the air filter cover off then you take your air filter out and pick up the housing you will see the only connector with a pigtail. That is your iat sensor!
its for a performance chip
A code 10 is a Iat sensor. Intake air tempature sensor.

Why would you even want to fool with the sensor? It will be covered under the emission warranty on the car.
