Yes and also it will boosts the computer speed by removing the unnecessary entities like temporary files etc
Transferring files
When I took audio files off my Verizon phone, they were QCP files. [aka useless files that are impossible to convert on your computer]
a computers memory can be improved by adding another harddrive on the computer and/or removing files that you dont use( do not remove files if you dont know what they are)
That is called a file server.
My computer does that some times it is usually getting rid of useless files
Most computers who host files for others to use are called Servers. Most of the time these computers have a lot of hard drive space as well as a lot of RAM and multiple CPUs. These costs a lot, but depending on who is in need of it these are the best option. If the computer that is sharing files is a normal computer such as a school computer, or home computer connected to a network, then it would just a computer.
