I own a 42" Seiki and its a great TV... the only problem ive had with it is that the other day the stand broke... when i got it, it the TV was leaning forward the hole time and sometimes almost fell over... well it cracked and now i have it sitting there! but other than that it is a great tv and is comparable to other more expensive TV's as well.

I have model #SE241TS a 24" TV and it works great. I've tried it with the different inputs and color is vibrant. Even using VGA with a computer the picture was outstanding for use as a monitor. I could not get the component input to work right at all but all the other inputs work great. They are now selling this model as remanufactured and if you're lucky you will get a brand new one for a very cheap price.

HOW DO YOU PROGRAM A SEIKI SE40FY27 TV WITH A RCA UNIVERSAL RCR6473R REMOTE?

To program a Seiki SE40FY27 TV with an RCA Universal RCR6473R remote, first turn on the TV. Press and hold the "TV" button on the remote until it blinks and then stays on. Next, enter the code for Seiki TVs, which can be found in the RCA remote's code list; if the TV turns off, the programming is successful. If it doesn’t, repeat the process using the next code until you find one that works.

How do you get a seiki tv to stay on wide screen?

I just called Seiki about the same issue (I have a 32" LCD). They indicated that the TV was "designed" to default to the 4:3 aspect ratio if you're getting the signal via an indoor antenna or a coax cable plugged into the wall. Very dumb, IMHO!

To reset a Seiki TV to factory settings without the remote or side buttons, you can try unplugging the TV from the power outlet for about 10 minutes. After plugging it back in, hold down the power button on the TV for 10-15 seconds to see if it resets. If that doesn't work, consult the user manual for any specific instructions related to your model or consider contacting Seiki customer support for further assistance.

What is the remote code for a Seiki TV and Hopper Joey System?

For the SE241TS I used the LG TV in the "Most Popular" list and the on, off, volume, mute worked. For the "Source" button I used the "Learned" function on the remote using the Input-Pair button, the Page Up and Page Down, and the Select buttons. Using the Seiki choice in the alpha list did not work for me.
