It is not being drained, it is not equiped for constant recharge as needed....Dodge intrepids shut off for no reason while driving because the standard batteries can not handle the load of the electrical components and torque needed to pull its weight over time.......yes, this is the hidden mystery...this is why the lights and everything else continues to work even when the vehicle shuts off at random...it needs a deep cycle battery that can handle the constant recharge of the vehicle along with its electrical components......case solved....dodge is gonna be angry at me now....who cares...these batteries are $180 and up or cheaper.
