I know its simple but make sure battery is good, if it is something else is going on, it could be there's a bit of corrosion on connectors where the battery goes
The battery in the remote needs to be replaced.
Check fuses
Is the remote's battery dead?
The batteries may be dead on the remote.
If the electronic locks work by the buttons in the car , its probably the remote . The remotes have to activated by accessing the cars onboard computor.
if you have keyles entry the battery in the remote might be dead which would mean you would need a new one
No
bad wire or actuator
my discovery 3 rear door lock will not lock with remote
alarm doesnt wrk neither does door locks with key
Fuse number 23 in the passenger compartment box is blown. It caused the following devices to stop working: Door lock switches (but not the locks), Interior lights, radio lights, A/C climate control, overhead console quit.
Turn the ignition key at a normal rate on and off about 8 or 9 times. (not to the point where the starter would engage) Your door locks will lock then unlock automatically, when this happens, press a key on the new remote. You new remote should now work.
