The trick to gaining access to the screws that hold the handle is that the door shell, to which the handle is attached, must be separated from all of the inner door assembly that fits inside it. The assembly is held inside the shell by means of three screws that are visible at the end of the door when you pull it open, and by plastic tabs that are of one piece with the shell and protrude into the metal frame of the inner assembly. First remove the three screws, and then begin pulling the inner assembly out of the shell. The plastic tabs that hold it in must be lifted out of the way. This can be done by inserting a screwdriver between the shell and the inner assembly and prying the shell away, being cautious not to pry more than necessary to avoid breakage. Start near the upper corner near the open end (not the hinge end). Look carefully into the opening as you pry it away, and notice small whitish-gray tabs. Starting with the one closest to the corner, pry it away enough so that you can begin pulling the inner assembly out. When that one has cleared the tab, move to the next tab and pry it free of the frame, etc, working your way toward the hinge. Then do the bottom, beginning again with the corner at the open end. When the shell separates from the inner assembly, you will see the screws that hold the handle on.
The hardest part will probably be to start getting the inner assembly out of the shell. One suggestion might be to insert an awl (or a nail) between the shell and the inner assembly at the location of the upper screw you removed, poking the awl into the screw hole, and gently prying as you also pry away the top corner tab with a screwdriver.
Note: I learned this after much difficulty of trying to remove the inner plastic trim as the first step. In the process I broke the trim and some of its retaining tabs. My recommendation, therefore, on this particular model, unlike other advice you may have received that might work with other microwaves, is to leave this plastic trim in place. Once the inner assembly is removed from the shell, the trim can be easily removed if necessary, but if all you are doing is replacing the handle, it is probably not necessary.
