Occupational violence is defined as any event where a person is directly physically or psychologically assaulted.

It can be resolved in the following ways:

1. Organizations should have eeo, anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies and training in place.

2. Management should build workplace cultures to prelude physical and psychological violence.

3. Incidents should be reported firstly to management and if not dealt properly to the appropriate administrative body.
