Many people say that the lemonade cleansing diet is effective, but doctors warn that any colon cleansing or colon detox diet is quite risky. This is not a safe procedure.
Different Diets work for different people. By doing research on particular diet type, you can see which one works for you. As for that particular diet you can go to http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/the-fruit-flush-diet and get reviews on this diet.
I've been told that lemon juice works as a diuretic. Would diet lemonade work as well or the same?
Doesn't work unless you want to adopt this diet due to your love of lemonade.
There is no way of knowing whether any particular diet will work for any individual, but changing your lifestyle and diet to mirror what is traditionally eaten in Mediterranean and Asian cultures is a very healthy diet. http://www.mediterrasian.com/about.htm As with any diet, it's important to talk to your doctor first.
The best cleansing diet is eating a clean diet of fruits, vegetables and anything unprocessed that does not contain sugar, flour or gluten. In addition, you should drink a lot of water. This is a natural way to do a clean body cleanse.
During the cold and flu season, a cleansing diet that consists of fruits rich in vitamin C such as citrus or cantaloupe can help reduce the risk of catching the common cold. A cleansing diet eliminates toxins from the body allowing the body to function more efficiently and to work harder at preventing sickness. The best cleansing foods for the winter, when colds and flu are common, include: celery, avocados, apples, cabbage, lemons and grapefruit.
Yes, as long as it is water-based rather than pear juice based.
Liver cleansing diets work by getting rid of toxins in your body. You give up some foods for a little while (things like junk foods, alcohol, etc.) and start with something like liquid foods. As you progress on the diet you slowly bring other foods back into the diet. Try to avoid junk food though, they contain toxins.
I would not recommend a body cleansing diet, or a colon cleanse, or anything of that sort. Your body should be able to take care and cleanse itself without any external help. Doing so could actually cause more harm than being helpful. Yes! When I did the cleanse I had a lot of energy and went to the gym to work-out. I had one of my best work-outs ever. I took a bottle of lemonade with me and sipped on that throughout the work-out. You should have enough energy to do all the things you would normally do. Although, some of the days I felt a little sick or not so well, so those days I would do what I needed to and just "get through it." But in general, you'll probably be up for a work-out!
No, it isn't really good for your health to go on diets (ex: the starvation diet, the Lemonade Diet, the Cabbage Soup Diet, etc.). The best way to lose excess weight is to eat a healthy, balanced diet of at least 1,200 calories (more if you're male and/or overweight) combined with regular exercise at least 3-6 days a week. Dieting doesn't work.
Getting rid of toxins from the body that hold weight is a way of losing weight. This process may make you weak, however, so following the instructions are vital in your health and success.
