A 14 yr old needs 2200 cal a day. You should talk to your doctor for more information.

An active 14 year old should not need to count calories, her appetite should be her guide. Just make make sure what you eat is healthy, protein for muscles and bones, carbs for energy and some fat to help the vitamins A & D you need for strong bones.

Not really... 2200 is a little too much for a 14 year old. I'd say about 2000-2100 would be good.
