It depends on what type of juice it is. But juices tned to have higher calorie contents. This is for a few reasons. First off, many fruit juices have added sugars in them. Fruits are also higher in calories naturally (they are still fairly low, though, compared to other types of foods like grains and dairy). Also, it takes a few pieces of fruit to get a full glass of juice. So drinking a glass of Orange Juice if actually like eating 2 or 3 actual Oranges.
