If you do sit ups every day for a while, you may lose weight. However, you will tone your abs and stomach muscles but not have much weight loss. Sit ups don't get your cardio function up.
ABS are formed by doing situps, vups, hollowrockers and so much more.
Anything that gets your heart going can help with weight loss, but only if you're simultaneously monitoring your diet. If you're overeating it really doesn't matter what you do for exercise, you still won't lose any weight. Situps can help tighten your abdominals, which can improve your shape even if it doesn't lose you much weight.
your doing work and not much work. your running, jumping, etc.your walking, sitting, situps, etc.
WEIGHT PRETTY MUCHWEIGHT PRETTY MUCH
I was fat once... but now I'm fit and healthy. What you should do is plenty of exercise. EG situps while wacthing tv and running, also try not to eat to much
if you want to get arm muscles, you should try doing weights, you are doing alot of situps and things but its not always how much you do, its how long for, so if you lowered it to 50, depending on your body type it could take from 4-9 weeks,
Pushups. Situps/crunches. Going to work.
because they lose it doing their sport
For a 160 pound person performing situps at a moderate rate, it will take a little less than 2 hours of continuous situps to burn 500 calories. It will take less time for people who weigh more and will take longer for those who weigh less. Situps are not a great exercise for burning calories, but they can strengthen your abdominal muscles well. Compare it to running at 8 miles per minute, where the same 160 pound person can burn almost 500 calories in only 30 minutes.
i think situps gives a much more higher heart rate than pushups. though for cardio jogging or swimming or cycling will be the best option.
It came too quickly.
You burn 21 calories every 10 push-ups.
