If you really want to lose weight, I suggest you cut down on high fat foods and only have them every so often, replace with tasty low fat foods. I dont think anybody can stay on a diet of just salad. Also balance out your meals (i.e. protein, carbs, meats, fruit & vegetables). You need to burn 3500 calories to lose 500g (1lb) of fat, so I suggest buying a pedometer and try to walk 10,000 steps a day. Trust me its easier than it sounds, you will burn 500 calories for walking 10,000 steps and if you do this on a healthy eating diet and doing 10,000 steps per day, you will lose a pound a week!
