A person of that size, who had that much weight to actively lose, would probably die from numerous other health issues before they got a chance to try and lose it. However, a person COULD lose that weight in theory. If a person was active enough to burn about 4,800 calories PER DAY for a year, they would in theory have burned off 500 pounds.
