Most of the people eat ugali, which is milled maize , and then stirred in boiling water, till it is getting thick enough to eat it by hand. Normally this is accompanied by a stew, or bbq-ed meat. The stew will contain fish in Lake Victoria area or meat in other parts of the country. The ugali is normally eaten by hand and used to make a spoon to eat the stew. The Maasai's diet is mainly milk with blood.
