they went extinct
A meteor impact caused the extinction of the dinosaurs.
Well it is hypothesized that dinosaurs went extinct because a huge meteor crashed down to Earth. This meteor caused such a huge impact that it sent dust and particles of the Earth to go flying, reflecting and blocking the sun's rays. This caused the climate to go way down and the food source for the dinosaurs must have died because of the new climate. Thus, the dinosaurs didn't have anymore food and died of hunger
Dinosaurs were extinct due to a meteor that hit the earth.
There was a big accident with a meteor.
It is generally accepted that non-avian dinosaurs became extinct around 66 million years ago, most likely as a result of a meteor's impact on Earth. However, scientists still to this day disagree on whether or not the meteor had an instant or residual impact, the latter as a result of changed climate and overall living conditions.
Yes! Many dinosaurs such as stegosaurus and apatosaurus died long before the meteor hit Earth.
Because I banged your mum so hard
No, not a meteor shower. The dinosaurs became extinct after a meteor struck the earth which blocked out the sun and killed much of the vegetataion that the dinosaurs used for food.
Dinosaur's are extinct now from the 2000 B.C.
No. Scientists believe that a giant meteor hit the Earth, killing all the dinosaurs and causing their extinction. It is true that the extinction of dinosaurs is mostly due to the meteor that hit earth during the time but according to scientists, only around 60 percent of the organisms on earth died due to direct impact. Some other reasons the dinosaurs are extinct may have included climate change, competition, or volcanic eruptions. And on the part about tsunamis, there actually was a massive tsunami near the Gulf of Mexico after the disturbance of the meteor that swept nearly 180 miles inland. But it was the meteor that caused the tsunami and also then the meteor, not the tsunami that may have contributed to the extinction of dinosaurs.
