I think it is definitely a boon. I have a patient who got a full dental treatment quote in the U.S. for about 27,000 USD. The equivalent treatment in Mexico was around 15,000 USD plus of course travel costs which was around 2,000 USD (all inclusive with flight, all inclusive) so there was a savings of 10,000 USD. Saving 10,000 USD cannot be considered a curse! But of course it really depends on the case at hand.
