No, it is not possible to die from any type of dream. Before the development of modern medicine and public education, many superstitions and myths existed to explain why infants and other people sometimes died in their sleep for no apparent reason. We now know that several forms of Heart disease, infections of the respiratory system and other seemingly "invisible" illnesses can result in quiet death, often described as "passing away in one's sleep." We also know much more about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS,) in which apparently healthy infants simply stop breathing and die in their sleep.

No, unless you have a sleepwalking problem ---- In some cases, this may be possible, although unlikely. The reason you jolt whilst asleep is because your brain thinks you are dying. It sends an electrical impulse through your body, causing your muscles to jerk, thus causing you to awaken. If the brain failed to send the impulse you can die due to asphyxiation. You occasionally stop breathing while asleep, but it is a small window in which you stop breathing.
