I would say about a million years. When I was younger, my family did an experiment, trying to see how long it took an egg shell to break down. It still hasn't to this very day. I was about nine, and am now 59, so I wouldn't give it another thought. Hope this information helps.

The answer depends on where the eggshell is placed. The existence of fossil dinosaur eggs shows they can last a long time. However, if the eggshell is added to a typical compost pile it will decompose as soil bacteria feed on it. (see http://www.paleo.ku.edu/palaios/25/5/smith.pdf)
However, if the eggshell is left on a shelf in your house then it could be there well past 50 years.
An Egg (inside) is mostly "Protein" Egg Shell is mostly "Calcium Carbonate". Proteins dissolve in Alkaline Chemicals like Bleach. Calcium Carbonate will dissolve in vinegar in about a week, it doesn't take very long. There will be red floating in the vinegar, it's the dissolved shell. But the egg itself remains undissolved, although the texture of the yoke is different.
The earth's crust is like an egg because the eath has a mantle (sort of like a shell) and an egg has a shell as well. Try this get a cup get an egg pour vineger and or salt in to the cup then drop the egg in the cup. Wait 2 or 3 days and after those 3 days the egg will feel soft.
The "Crust" is one of the Earth's layer. It can be compared to an eggshell
Egg shells are fragile and can break easily with even a small amount of force due to their thin and brittle nature. The shell is made of calcium carbonate crystals which are fairly delicate, making it necessary to handle eggs with care to prevent cracking or breaking.
The scientific name for eggshell is "calcium carbonate." It is a mineral compound primarily composed of calcium, carbon, and oxygen that provides structure and protection to the contents of the egg.
yes egg shells can disintegrate in vinegar.
you boil the egg in water and them peal the hard shell after about 10 minutes of boiling
It can take up to twenty one days for a chick to hatch out of the egg. In incubation, it may take up to 24 hours for a chick to hatch out of the egg.

A leathery shell is a shell that is flexible rather than solid like the shell of a bird egg. A snake's egg has a shell that is flexible, as does a turtle's egg.
