Six things that contribute to global warming are:
The six Wind Belts are the Polar Easterlies, the Prevailing Westerlies, the Trade Winds, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the Hadley Cell, and the Ferrel Cell. These wind belts help distribute heat and pressure across Earth's surface, playing a crucial role in global climate patterns.
The global reading challenge is a challenge to read the global reading books then do a quiz at your school and if you win you get to go to a downtown library and compete with other schools.Plus you have to get six people in your group.
Carbon emissions have greatly increased over the past 200 years, as humanity discovered coal and factories and motor vehicles. Human population has also increased from one billion to almost six billion, and all these people want to live with refrigerators, televisions and motor vehicles with air conditioning. This puts tremendous pressure on governments all over the world to provide more and more electricity. Most electricity is produced by burning coal and other fossil fuels. The other cause is the destruction of the forests, which can no longer keep up with the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. The greenhouse effect is when the gases like water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, ozone and other gases build up in the atmosphere and absorb that heat that used to be reflected out into space.
Water vapor (H2O) = ?Carbon dioxide (CO2) = 1Methane (CH4) = 21Nitrogenous oxide (N2O) = 298Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6) = 22,200Chlorinated fluorocarbons (CFC's) = 1000 to 9000
A six degrees Celsius increase in temperature could lead to more frequent and extreme heatwaves, melting of polar ice caps and glaciers, rising sea levels, disruption of ecosystems and agriculture, and increased frequency of natural disasters like hurricanes and droughts. This level of climate change would have profound impacts on global food security, water resources, biodiversity, and human health.
Global Warming. Ozone Layer. Droughts. Not enough electricity to last. Floods. Running out of food.
Unfortunately, mostly because the following is So True, we see that the Negative Impacts are Literally too numerous to delineate and/or itemize. Six Major Crisis Points 'just' for the Oceans.

A group of Japanese scientists is planning great nets of seaweed (sargassum and Sostera marina) off the coast of Japan. The nets would measure six miles by six miles and would fill with quick-growing seaweed, growing at the rate of 270,000 tonnes a year. This seawood would absorb vast amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, store the carbon and release the oxygen. After a year the seaweed would be harvested and used for biomass energy.Korea is using seaweed to produce bio-diesel.Both these methods will help reduce the speed of global warming.

Global warming caused by the green house effect has raised the temperature of the oceans so high that the coral get sick and die. Even a rise of one degree in the average water temperature can hurt the coral. Due to global warming, 1998 was the hottest year in the last six centuries and 1998 was the worst year for coralHello! When global warming heats up the world, it melts the ice-caps. When it does so it will eventually freeze over the ocean's surface. After a wile it will once again melt, and when it does so the oceans sea level will get higher. The corals need sunlight to survive so if the sea level rises, the sunlight will not be able to reach the corals causing them to die...Paige :)Globle warming is killing coralreefs.Any significant warming would cause some coral to die (where the water gets too warm or too deep) and enable others to thrive (where cold water warms and shallows become covered).
Ten years from now, if we ignore the problem of plastic pollution, the world can be so hot because of global warming. The plastics can contribute to global warming by burning the plastics. It is said that every kilogram of plastic when burnt creates six kilograms of carbon dioxide. Another possible outcome is the massive flooding because the plastics are clogging the waterways because of the irresponsible doings of the people. =))) -JasC
There are six major global wind patterns
Greenhouse gases emitted by human activities cause Global warming. There is an overwhelming consensus in the scientific community that this is the case. Six main greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) (which is 20 times as potent a greenhouse gas as carbon dioxide) and nitrous oxide (N2O), plus three fluorinated industrial gases: hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6). Water vapor is also considered a greenhouse gas.
