Currently there are no serious global efforts to mitigate global warming. Instead, it is full steam ahead. The industrial nations have done virtually nothing to curb their carbon emissions--the US in particular refuses to sign any accord that might negatively impact the profits of our enormous fossil fuel industry.
Proposals include switching from coal powered electrical generation facilities to clean, renewable resources like solar, wind, and nuclear (which can be relatively clean). The development of urban mass transit systems would also aid in reducing global carbon emissions. There has been some gains made in conservation efforts such as greater fuel efficiency in vehicles.
Many scientists believe 350 ppm CO2 is about the maximum sustainable level. We passed that in the 1980s, and in a few short years will exceed 400 ppm. We will pass 500 ppm before 2050, at our present rate.
Mitigate means to soften or make easier, so with global warming it means to reduce it. The way, of course, to reduce global warming is to plant billions of trees and to stop burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas).
Global Warming.
True global warming does not decrease temperatures. So, either the model for global warming's effects is hokus-pokus, or global warming as presently claimed, does not exist. Some global warming followers will have you believe that global warming makes the weather "act crazy". If true, then it is not really global warming, is it.
Global warming in itself isn't pollution - global warming is the gradual warming of the earth. However, global warming was caused by carbon dioxide pollution in the atmosphere, but global warming in itself isn't a pollution. yes it is a pollution
The earth will never be destroyed by global warming. Life on earth might be destroyed, if we don't make serious efforts to stop global warming. Venus has temperatures of over 460C (860F) with an atmosphere full of carbon dioxide. The planet still exists, but there is no chance of life.

If we can reduce and slow global warming, then that will mitigate its impact on penguins, as well as on every other living thing on the planet. We can reduce global warming by:Changing from fossil fuel energy to renewable energyPlanting billions of trees.Until this happens we can all: Seriously reduce our use of electricity and petroleum.
Scientists do not predict that global warming will end because it is an ongoing process caused by human activities such as burning fossil fuels. However, with global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transition to renewable energy sources, it is possible to mitigate the impacts of global warming and stabilize the climate.
There are many efforts world-wide to reduce the green house gases that are theoretically linked to Global Warming. GW leaders like Al Gore suggest that GW is caused by industrial out pouring of Carbon Dioxide gas.
Global awareness of the dangers of global warming, and global awareness that solutions really are possible, will enable us all to make informed decisions to support efforts to reduce our carbon emissions and make the world a better place for our children and grandchildren.
Global Warming.
Although there are advantages to both, train travel is superior to car travel.
global warming!!!!!!
Comparing global warming to war is difficult because they are different types of issues with different impacts. While wars can have immediate and direct consequences in terms of human suffering and loss of life, global warming has long-term effects on the planet, including rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and damage to ecosystems. Both global warming and war have significant negative consequences, and it is important to address and mitigate the impacts of both.
Global afforestation efforts will affect climate change over the new few decades. Afforestation will build up the number of forests in the world which will help global warming problems.
The current projected rate of global warming will be 4 to 7 degrees Celsius by the end of this century. "Reducing" global warming would be to aim at the lower end of this value. So our goal isn't really to reduce global warming--it is too late for that, barring some entirely new technology. Instead, we only hope to mitigate the environmental impact of human activity through reducing consumption of the fossil fuels which release greenhouse CO2 into the atmosphere.
