The pole is at 90 degrees North. The summer solstice happens when the Sun is overhead at the maximum latitude it ever reaches North (the Tropic of Cancer) which is currently 23° 26′ 16″ north of the Equator. Therefore the angular distance of the Sun from the North celestial pole at the summer solstice is (90° - 23° 26′ 16″ )= 66° 33′ 44″ measured from the pole.
December 21 is the Winter solstice, June 21 is the Summer solstice.
SOLSTICE
If the sedimentary rock contains angular gravel sized (> 2mm) sediment it is called a brecciia. If the gravel is rounded it is called a conglomerate.
it is called winter solstice ya'll hopefully that helped=]
Spring, Fall - Equinox Summer, Winter - Solstice
That's called a solstice.
DIP
That is also called the axis; the "end-points" of this axis are called the celestial poles.
The angle of the axis of rotation does not change. It always points to what is known as the celestial north, though it does wobble slowly making a full wobble, or circle about every 26,000 years. This is called precession. It is like a gyroscope. See the link below for an image of precession
Summer solstice and winter solstice.
The winter solstice and the summer solstice.
From the perspective of the Northern Hemisphere, this solstice will be called the "winter" solstice.
It is called the solstice. In the northern hemisphere it is the summer solstice on June 20th or 21st. In the southern hemisphere it is the winter solstice on December 21st or 22nd. The shortest day of the year occur on the same dates in the opposite hemispheres.
An anomaly refers to the position of a planet or satellite that is defined by its angular distance from its last perihelion. It is considered an irregularity in the motion of a planet or satellite.
it is called its umbra
In the past I have read a book called 'The Celestial Globe'.
