This is probably one of the most common and perhaps one of the oldest questions in the history of humans on the planet earth. The problem is that it always changes. It is said in Michigan, and I suspect elsewhere, "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute." It certainly can seem true, especially in places like Michigan where conditions can change from one moment to the next. In the southwestern US, states like Kansas, Oklahoma, the plains of Texas, and the deserts of Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, "What's the weather?" can be answered generally by looking west. If you see a wall of black barreling at you, expect storms and rain. If you see brown, expect a mud storm (Right, I said mud storm. Dust that gets kicked up by high winds in these areas often comes down with rain in the form of mud). From personal experience, in some of the valleys of southern Germany, it will be warm, bright and sunny one moment, then the next, when the storm front on the other side of a mountain gains enough momentum, everything turns white.
